This summer, we invite you to take part in a truly unique experience – an exhibition of one of the most renowned video artists in the world, Bill Viola. From July 25 through the end of the year, his moving and meditative works will be on view in two major cultural venues in Toruń: the Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu and the Tumult Foundation.

The exhibition „Visions of Time” features 32 works by the artist – immersive video installations that are not just seen, but deeply experienced. Viola masterfully blends image and sound with philosophical reflection on memory, time, spirituality, and that which is invisible yet ever-present.The exhibition was prepared to mark the first anniversary of the artist’s death, as a tribute to his extraordinary legacy. It is a collaborative project between the Tumult Foundation – co-organizer of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival – and the Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu. Both institutions have a rich history of presenting acclaimed exhibitions featuring artists such as David Lynch, Marina Abramović, Helmut Newton, Patricia Piccinini, Julian Rosefeldt, and the duo Boddeke & Greenaway.

The exhibition takes place in two locations:
– the Centre of Contemporary Art “Znaki Czasu”
– the Tumult Foundation headquarters, Rynek Nowomiejski 28, Toruń
