For the first time ever the legedary WORLD PRESS PHOTO exhibition can be seen in Torun.

The best press photographs of the year 2007, selected by an independent jury out of over 80,000 images sent from all over the world, are displayed in CoCA from January 23rd.

Each year, during the international World Press Photo competition, the jury consisting of 13 members judges the entries in ten different caregories, submitted by photojournalists, worldwide press agencies, newspapers and magazines. This years’s edition attracted a record number of participants – more than 5.000 photographers from 125 countries sent 80,536 images.
