II CoCArt Music Festival

24-28 March 2009

II CoCArt Music Festival is a creative follow-up of the festial’s first edition of the festival, that took place at CoCA in March 2009

The basic idea of CoCArt organizers is to present current trends in the field of contemporary sound&visual art. The international event features multimedia concerts of artists that integrate music, image and performance.

The main events of this years CoCArt Music Festival are audiovisual concerts in CoCA’s underground car park. What’s new about this edition are the CoCArt Music Poland concerts, audio installations, educational workshops and a pannel discussion, entitled Experimental multimedia art versus new technologies.
Don’t miss all the afterparties!

The performers are celebrated contemporary independent audio and video artists, experimenting in the field of electroacoustics, ambient, drone music, postindustrial, free improvisation or field recordings.

For some of the artists, the II CoCArt Music Festival is the first opportunity to perform for the Polish audience.
